I like ramen dont you?
I recently bought several different ramen types for the kids and myself, and I thought I might cook them up and test them out for you, what a nice person I am! There arent many places in Flint, Mi to buy ramen, so I am pretty limited. Theres a good store in Grand Rapids, Mi that I visit sometimes and she has a better variety. Anyways, I know the pictures arent the best, there was low light in the house yesterday, but heres what I had yesterday:
Its by nongshim, and its called spicy vegetable noodle soup, or mu pa ma tang myun... I think it translates into something. This is a Korean ramen which I dont mind.. I just dont usually like the ramens you can find in your local Walmart.
Heres what was inside the package: A lovely circle cake thing of dried ramen noodles that fit just right into my smallest pan, a vegetable packet, a soup base, and a seasoning packet. I personally like the ramens that come with all the extra little packets, especially the vegetables.
Here it is all in the pan all ready to cook up, yay!!! I love the smell of cooking ramen.
Ahhh a fresh bowl of ramen. I know most people doctor it up, but I had the real thing in Japan.... miso raman, OMG. Nothing in the states will ever compare to that. well the flavor isnt too bad in this one, it not as spicy as some of nongshim's other ramens, so I dont know what to score this one... maybe 1 5 or 6 out of 10. Please bear with me, I am new to this whole blogging thing, so I might change things up on future posts, well I hope I have time to do future posts, lol. Anyways, have you tried this Ramen? What did you think?
I thought ramen was from Korea? thats where I discovered it. now I eat maruchan ramen but it doesn't compare to the real thing I had in Korea.
ReplyDeleteNothing will compare to the real thing in Korea or in Japan or the other countries that make it homemade, lol I do believe Maruchan is a Japanese ramen. :)
